"...Beautiful little B B in the centre of Les Baux. , one of the most beautiful village in france)... From a purely esthetical view point, this B&B deserves (at least) 4 stars. Our hostess was very welcoming for us non-french speakers and helpful... We have no hesitation in recommending this B B. Les Baux is an amazing small town and experiencing it after the tourist crowds have departed for the day was magical....... Yes it is a steep climb to the top and yes you have to leave your car at the bottom until 7:00 PM during the high season but the walk through the village is so fascinating that you will not even notice" parts of clients reviews.

"Unique and charming B&B" A TripAdvisor User, Chicago, Illinois
Stayed at this amazing place for 3 nights in May, what a unique experience to sleep at the top of an old Roman-era fortress in a home carved out of rock! The breakfasts alone had us swooning. The views from the terrace were stunning, and the room (we stayed in the smallest) was quite comfortable, especially the bed with its big down duvet. The secret to Les Baux is sleeping there; you do your own sightseeing throughout Provence during the day (when Les Baux is jammed with tourists) and then return to feel as if you are the only people in the village at night. Just the sound of the old church bell and the village's cats as companions. Heaven. The only down side is that to have dinner you really need to leave the village. Things shut up pretty tight by 6 or 7 pm. But Arles is less than a half-hour drive away and has lots of good restaurants.

We were impressed with the personal touches in the rooms and decor. Room was lovely, scenic view, breakfast delicious and host was warm and helpful. Useful tips from a well-travelled host to continue our journey in France. A great choice and highly recommended!
"We definitely recommend this bed breakfast Le Prince Noir" A TripAdvisor User, Perth,AU
Le Prince Noir was a beautiful place to stay! We loved the whole Provence area. The atmosphere of both the hotel and people there is warm and inviting. The breakfast was wonderful as well as the conversation and advice. We definitely recommend Le Prince Noir for anyone wanting to escape to the country!

Beautiful Views from our balcony of the fortress ruin just outside our windows. The setting was tranquil and our hosts at the cute bed and breakfast were great, giving us a lot of great advice on what to do and see.
Lavender Andrew : Our hosts were very welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast to us each morning. Our room was at the highest point in Les Baux and the views were absolutely spectacular. Our rooms were actually built into the side of the cliff and left a great memory for our children and ourselves. Heartily recommended for an original experience.
Bed Breakfast also writed B B or bnb is translated in France as Chambres d hotes the most commonly used as B B. Hope to welcome you for your next stay in Provence... |
