"... Stayed at this amazing place for 3 nights in May 2004. What a unique experience to sleep at the top of an old Roman-area fortress in a home carved out of rock! The breakfasts alone had us swooning. The views from the terrace were stunning, and the room (we stayed in the smallest) was quite comfortable, especially the bed with its big down duvet. The secret to Les Baux is sleeping there; you do your own sightseeing throughout Provence during the day* and then return to feel as if you are the only people in the village at night. Just the sound of the old church bell and the village's cats as companions. From April to October, the access to the village is only pedestrian area between 10h30 and 19h00. Therefore we advise you, after having parked your car, to take only the urgent affaires with you. The rest of luggage will be taken after 19h with the car. By problems don't hesitate to ask the arrival agents in the village. 250 m. between the Parking and our home. |
